Don't try to boil the ocean. Pick one workflow that happens frequently, where output quality matters, and where improvement is measurable. Build your first production-grade prompt library for that workflow. Version control it. Measure it. Iterate weekly.
Not a title — a responsibility. Someone who is accountable for the quality of your AI prompt architecture. This person needs authority to deprecate bad prompts and ship good ones. Treat this role with the seriousness of a senior engineer owning a critical system.
Before you scale any AI system, define what "good" looks like quantitatively. Create a rubric. Build a scoring pipeline. Start measuring output quality against that rubric from Day 1. Without measurement, you have no foundation for improvement — and no proof of value to leadership.
